So, if you're counting, that is more than a dozen. Like I said, I'm still working on details. See, even though I haven't been writing I have been thinking about writing...and that's better than nothing, right?
This week has been pretty uneventful. Still pretty busy at work. For most of the week, the left side of my face feels like it's been being squeezed in a vise grip due to my lovely sinuses. Friday was particularly bad, I could barely stay awake. Then the idea to maybe try some sinus specific medicine (vs. just basic pain relief stuff) finally occurred to me. I blame my foggy head for not coming to this conclusion sooner. I'm feeling about 90% better since I started the sinus meds....they have also turned me into a bit of a spaz.
I finished the book Water for Elephants
this week and then watched the movie. I didn't like the things they changed for the movie at all. Both the movie and book were ok but far from a favorite.
Last night I finally got around to grouting the mosaic tray I've been working on. I started laying the tiles in December and finished about two weeks ago. I'm not good at finishing projects...I prefer the in-progress stage vs. being finished. This is something I've been trying to get past though, so I channeled my pseudo-ephedrine buzz to go for it. I love messy projects, I instantly feel that same joy that a five year old gets when you hand them finger paints and tell them to go wild. Here's the final outcome of my mosaic tray:

I plan on using it to corral our three (yes, three) different sets of salt and pepper shakers/grinders and our set of Misto Sprayers
. I have two upcoming crafty things that I want to work on next: a knitted rainbow blanket and an embroidered garden apron. I have the feeling these two projects are going to be worked on concurrently.
That pretty much covers my excitement this week - I know, I lead a thrilling life. On to Daily Dozen template work!
